Abies concolorWhite Fir Cones, lot of 5. PLEASE READ CAUTION BELOW Each cone is from 2.5 - 3.5 inches long, and 1 - 1.5 inches wide. Caution: Very FragileAbies concolor cones typically disintegrate on the branch, which is why they are so hard to find. These cones were collected while still very green and full of sap. They have been wrapped in paper and bound while they dry, preventing them from falling apart. As soon as they are opened up, they will try to do just that. They are so beautiful, and so special, but can be tricky to work with. My method for preserving them for crafts is to cradle them in my left hand, while injecting hot glue in between each layer.
