For your consideration is a three gallon crock made by Buckeye Pottery of Macomb, Illinois. This company began in 1882, but didn't start using this type of glaze until the middle or late 1890s. They went out of business in 1942, but had quit using the Logo on this crock well before then. The height is 10 1/2" and the bottom has a diameter of 10". This crock is an old item that was used. It has 0 chips, however to the right of the logo is a very tight hairline, that starts at the rim and extends downward for almost 5". On the interior is a very tight hairline that is almost 2" long; this hairline cannot be seen on the exterior. Please carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
