Up for sale is one Roland SN-R8-01 CONTEMPORARY PERCUSSION Sound Library Sound Data ROM R-8 card. This is the SN-R8-01 Contemporary Percussion sound library ROM card for the Roland R-8 drum machine or its rack mounted counterpart the R-8M. This ROM expansion card features many latin type sounds unavailable on the actual drum machine. The card is fully functional and was tested using a Roland R-8 drum machine for full function. Cosmetically, the card is in fair condition with minor cosmetic wear and slight bowing that these cards experience with use that does not affect overall function. A previous owner labelled the card as "#1" with a sharpie marker and also there is some leftover red paint residue near the top edge of the card left from the previous owner. The jewel case that comes with the item is cracked and us merely for added protection (see pictures for all condition issues). Note that often times R-8 expansion cards will need to be reseated and reloaded (similarly to an NES cartridge) to ensure correct contact and data communication.
