Vintage Muller Volkstedt The Bird Dealer Porcelain Figurine Estate Find. Delightful, nicely detailed porcelain figurine of hiker with birds – he is carrying a birdhouse on his back; his short sleeves are decorated with tiny winged insects. Bottom is stamped with logo of blue crown with a marking below the crown (appears to be 2 letters -- MV -- inside an oval type shape). Hand written “The Bird Dealer”. Incised number 1058. It is my understanding this backstamp is that of Muller Volkstedt. Measures approx.2 7/8” long x 2 1/4” wide (bottom base) x 4” tall.Very Good Clean Condition – No chips, cracks, crazing, or fleabites. Please review pictures for details.
