Vintage 1957 Vogue JILL Doll 10" TAGGED Vogue Orange Striped Dress/Raincoat - $75 - (Moscow Mills, MO)
Please read entire post before bidding! Vintage 1957 Vogue Jill brunette hair blue eyed fashion doll wearing 1957 #7402 orange and white striped dress with black binding (There is a repair at left shoulder in back, See closeup.). She also will come with a Vogue (untagged) 1960-made vinyl/cloth red with white stars raincoat (missing the accompanying tote). This raincoat is shown in a black and white photo on page 229 of the Collector’s Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls by Izen and Stover. Raincoat is in excellent condition. Still has ties and contains no rips or repairs and is still supple. It is a little challenging to get on the doll but I show her in the coat in one of the photos. I will mail it on her just wrapped around doll (arms not through sleeves). She has on red high heels with rhinestone and nylons (several runners) along with nylon tricot (#3911) scanty panties. She also has the petticoat (#3960) only it is stretched at waist. It has tag and is in otherwise good condition. She measures approximately 10.5” tall and is in good condition except for a seam separating left shoulder. I’ve attempted a repair but it is noticeable unfortunately (See closeup). She has her heart pearl earrings although they have lost some of their pearl color. She also has a removable faux pearl choker. This Jill has a beautiful brunette wig styled in her original ponytail. I’ve added a cute ponytail holder. Doll holds poses and her knees bend at joints. She walks with head movement as well as sits. She also has the appropriate maker’s marks on her back and head. (See closeup). She is a very nice Jill doll ready for display! Doll stand will NOT be included.
