Offered for your personal collection is this lovely antique majolica oyster plate. Made in Germany by the Franz Anton Mehlem factory between 1887-1920. It has the impressed makers mark on the back as seen in photo. It features 5 oyster wells trimmed in gold and with a grey "oyster scar" in each. It has a center well for lemon and a scalloped shell for another type of seafood. This is all on a basket weave background. This extremely elegant antique oyster plate is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! It measures 8.5 inches in diameter.
