Offered for your personal collection is this gorgeous antique Porcelain Oyster Plate. Made in the 1800’s and marked with the numbers 3329/87 impressed into the clay. We believe this to be German in origin. Very beautiful, it features Wells for 6 oysters and a center well for lemon or sauce. Each oyster well has a Hand Painted oyster ‘scar’ as if you have already scooped the oyster out to it’s shell. The bottom tip of the oyster shells have a pinkish violet hue and in between are other shells in mocha trimmed in gold. The plate has an overall iridescent glaze, just beautiful! It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! It measures 9.5 inches in diameter. This will be beautiful in any room of your home!
