Vintage Round Top German 3 Weights Grandfather Clock Runs Chimes/ Need Service - $800 - (Budd Lake, NJ)
Beautiful Round Top weights driven German grandfather clock in good overall condition considering the age. Case has nicks,carved pieces have some splitting and missing small side molding ( still looks great). Glass looks nice, no chips, cracks or deep scratches. Weights have some dents.Runs and chimes. We tested for a week ( Runs good but what we found does not counting by 12 hours and shortly before supposed to count hours hammer does hit gong once and after that everything works fine??? maybe needs servicing).Dial has some tarnish and rim dent ( by 8 o clock, not visible when door closed). Movement has nice fancy plates and also has numbers but no makers name. Don’t forget this is antique/ vintage clock which shows his age do not expect to be in new condition. Approx.82” tall , 25” widest spot ( bottom molding) , 18 3/4” wide ( middle part with glass) ,9” deep ( middle part) and 10” deep ( bottom part).Ready for your collection and enjoyment.
