Crazy Quilt 1890 Feather Stitching, Embroidery, Satin Flowers, 7'x5' Made by Mary Elizabeth Dovel Stephens - Provenance Document Included Incredible Estate Sale Find in VA made by Mary Elizabeth Dovel Stephens (1829-1902) (picture & paperwork included). Many hours were put into making this fabulous crazy quilt back in 1890. Lots of hand stitched embroidery, feather stitching & satin flowers. It is made up of all different types of materials, with very little wear - some tears. The backing is blue & gold with very minor stitch repair. It has been well preserved!
