Offering this amazing early Victorian carved Cupboard - I believe the wood to be maple but its hard to tell - Looks like poplar secondary - Finish is ebonized and is original - Quite early looking at the back and the chamfered drawer bottoms - It is carved all over the surface, front and sides - Lots of different figures and faces - Found in the same Kennebunk Maine Estate as the pair of carved chairs that we have listed - two bottom Doors with large carved Heads - Figural Face Drawer pulls - Top Crest lifts off as does the middle section - A few condition issues as stated but in good useable condition - It measures 85" tall, and 48" wide, 20" deep at the feet - Check our other auctions for quality Victorian Furniture - Buyer pays Shipping - Will be glad to help with quotes.
