Antique Rare Royal Vienna Plate w/ Fancy Animals; Up for sale is the Royal Vienna porcelain plate interestingly illustrating the interactions of different animals, dated likely late 19th century. In rare pattern, the plate is designed with gold gilt paintings on white background surrounded by pink and gold gilt floral motifs. Separated by round-shaped pictures with birds in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction, the 6-long fan-shaped scenes along the rim contain a fairy tale-like hand painted animals fascinatingly intermingling with each other. Underneath shows the shield, or beehive, hallmark in blue color underglaze. An inscribed mark “TK81” underglaze is observed. However, the hand-written sign on the back is hard to read. Measures: 9 5/8” rim diameter x 1 5/8” high x 5 ¼” base diameter. Condition: Very good, except with a chip under the rim, as shown in the photo.Shipment: Our items can be shipped worldwide.
