Rare Antique Vintage Military hand-colored portrait gold gilt wood frame carved - $249 - (Malakoff, TX)

I bought 3 of these antique portraits at an estate sale and was told they were from a Pennsylvania estate. Two of the men have the same last name "Whitson" and the 3rd doesn't have any writing. This is "Charles Edwin Whitson 1877". It is believed that their uniforms are from the Spanish American War. The portrait is hand-colored. The gold gilt wood frame features carving and domed or convex glass. Sorry about the flash in the background. It was difficult to get a picture without it! The measurements of the framed portrait are 24.5" by 18.5". I will have these professionally packed by a mailing company because of the bubble glass.
