1967 Fender Princeton Reverb Guitar Amplifier - $4,000 - (Birmingham, AL)
This is a 1967 Fender Princeton Reverb Amplifier. Other than a replaced speaker, it is 100% completely untouched and original. Output Transformer 606-625Power Transformer 606-626Reverb Transformer 831 6637Chart Code QDSpeaker Code Can't TellSerial # A16246 When I got this, I gave it a good cleaning. In doing so, it became apparent that I was the first person to open this up since it left the factory. Everything is completely untouched. Original everything. The tubes are Mullard and RCA, all the caps original, even the 2 prong power cable. The one exception being the speaker. It is sorta "period correct" in that this could have come in the amp, but I can tell it came from another amp by the solder on the speaker terminals. And for some reason the date code is painted over. The speaker works and sounds fine, but I'm 99% sure its not original to the amp. The tolex has a few nicks and scrapes on it. Nothing too major, but it does have a few miles on it in that regard. The grill cloth looks great and doesn't have any holes. The amp itself sounds great and works exactly as it should. As it sits now, the bias is set a little hot and has thing sounding really aggressive, in a good way! The reverb and vibrato work as you would expect. Since this thing is so original, and its still breathing fire, I didn't want to (and don't see any reason) to give it a cap job. If the new owner wants me to perform a cap job and put a 3 prong cable on it after purchase, I'll be happy to discuss that and do it for a nominal fee. I wouldn't necessarily call this a "museum piece", but other than the speaker this is completely untouched. Which puts this 51 year amp in the minority! Thanks alot and let me know if you have any questions or need any other pictures.
