For me, the movie The Monster Squad is kind of fun but not great ... except when it is. The best parts come early in the movie, when Count Dracula brings together his team of fellow creatures of the night, including the Mummy, Wolf Man, Creature ... and the Frankenstein Monster.The Monster Squad's portrayal of the Monster inspired this resin replacement head, sculpted by Ray Santoleri to fit the first plastic Moebius Models Frankenstein kit, soon to be reissued by the company. The head fits ONLY the first version of the Moebius kit; it will not fit the later Bride of Frankenstein kit. The movie-inspired nameplate comes from Mark Kaelin of Mental Mischief.Ray Santoleri's day job is as a movie makeup artist. You'll see his work in the upcoming film Glass.Please note that resin parts are different than styrene plastic. The head can most easily be attached to the plastic kit with super glue.Photos are for reference only. The replacement head is unbuilt and unpainted. It may benefit from some light sanding in areas.
