This is a very undemanding aquatic plant that makes an excellent choice for beginning hobbyists. It is one of my favorites as it does well in almost any aquarium as long as there is a decent amount of light. While it is best when planted, it will also grow as a free floating plant at the top of the aquarium. Stems become 10-30 cm long. Like most stem plants, it is most decorative when planted in small groups.
