~~~WELCOME~~~ This brown transfer-ware plate/platter has an aesthetic movement motif. The design includes a Japanese style vase filled with branches of greenery, groups of blooming flora and fauna, decorated fan, butterflies and geometric designs. The English Registry mark indicates the date of May 14, 1878. The plate measures 9 1/2" across and 6" wide. The stamped mark "T. Elsmore & Son, Registry Mark, England". There are no cracks, chips or repairs. There are stains, I did not try to remove them.
