Adopt Norie a Black - with White Border Collie / Mixed dog in Alpharetta - N.A. - (Alpharetta, GA)

Norie came to us broken – physically and in spirit. Presumably hit by a car, she had a fractured femur. She was shy, didn’t bark once and clung to us. She underwent FHO surgery just two days after we got her and is currently rehabilitating from that. 2 weeks after surgery, she surprised us by birthing an wonderful single puppy in our kitchen. She has been a good momma. All of this activity made it take longer to start to establish her personality. She has found her voice, but mainly barks at people outside the window or on the street when she is outside or when our other dogs bark. She is quiet otherwise. She has also been fine with our dogs and children (ages eleven and 14) but unfortunately it has become evident that she is not good with cats. We would have adopted her in a heartbeat if we didn’t have six cats. She is an absolute doll – so soft and cuddly! She looks like she has border collie in her and is estimated to be two years old.
