Vintage 1954 Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience Plate Man Riding Goat With Bird - $35 - (Winnipeg, MB)

You are bidding on a delightful, rare little trinket dish/plate made by Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience, Denmark. The plate features an image of a man with a tall hat and feather,riding a goat and carrying what appears to be a dead bird. I'm not sure if this relates to a Swedish folktale or something else as I have been unable to find any further details. The plate/dish measures approximately 5 1/2 inches across. The makers mark has a "U" above " the "R" in Denmark which means the production year is 1954. The artist's initials appear to be "K.F." but I also cannot find a name to go with them. In good condition with no chips or cracks and some very slight/light crazing to the backside. Will ship worldwide.
