Lovely Amber Rose Intaglio Jewelry Set from National Geographic. Necklace measures 7/16" wide X 7/8" Long with an 18" Sterling Silver Snake Chain with Lobster-claw Clasp, Earrings are Pierced Type, measures 7/16" Wide X1 3/8" Long. In Old Norse tradition, amber symbolized the tears of the goddess of love. Here,a flower is hand-carved in the back of an amber cabochon in a technique known as Intaglio. Set in Sterling Silver, handcrafted in Gdynia, Poland. I received this set as a gift & have never worn. Will be insured when shipped.
