Up for sale is this estate rescued TDC Vivid Model D Projector with a Selectron Semimatic Slide Changer in the original case! This setup is in great condition for its age. The bulb is bright and gives a clear image as seen in the 2nd photo to the left or above. This projector is fitted with a Selectron Semimatic Slide Changer which blacks out the light between slides. The slide adapter can be removed by unscrewing the thumb screw at the top center. Then the entire lens assembly comes out and the projector can be used as a spotlight! This unit has bee opened up and all of the lenses have been cleaned. We also lubricated the cooling fan and cleaned out the years of dust that had accumulated inside. This setup has 2 leveling feet on one side and the entire body rotates up and down for aiming. It is fitted with a TDC Vivid Antistigmat f3.5 Coated 5” focus lens. This unit comes in the original TDC Vivid carrying case which has a tweed patterned cover and a maroon base. It has 3 latches which hold it closed securely. There is plenty of room inside for slide trays or other accessories. The case has a single handle on the top which is still secure and not cracked. The projector measures 11” tall x 12” from front to back with the lens screwed in x 6” from side to side without the slide carriage installed. The case measures 15” x 12 1/2” x 12”.
