Vintage Solid Wood Box W/ Dovetailed Corners Jewelry Chest With Mirror - $25 - (Baton Rouge, LA)

Up for bid is this wonderful wood, dovetailed jewelry/trinket box. The box measures 8 1/2" long and is 6" wide and has a great vintage Art Deco style mirror in the lid. The liner paper in the box can be replaced as it is torn, but the patina is wonderful if you can deal with an ever so slight tear. Note the three Art Deco style copper balls used for a handle on the front; they may be solid copper, have not tested them. There are some minor scratches on the box, but it is a good faux finish, almost a maple grain painted onto the wood. For the age of the box I think it is in very good condition. Happy bidding!
