13 Inch All Fabric Doll from Mary Merritt Doll Museum - $3 - (Tennille, GA)

This doll collected by my late mother, probably around 1980, was sold by the Mary Merritt Doll Museum Douglassville, Pennsylvania (closed in December 2005). The doll was manufactured in Reidsville, North Carolina by the Chase Bag Company, and is in the plastic bag my mother sealed when acquired. For some reason, it looks like my mother pierced the top of the doll’s head with heavy thread when sealing the bag.
