brown,"chukka" boots, VINTAGE leather, 1940's,7D, new old stock. - $79 - (East Hampton, NY)

new old stock, believe is made in the 40's. have been told by seller it was ww2, i did not recognize any of the printed labels as military. i think is civilian, but may have been made to sell through px near military bases. the style is a low boot(chukka) from bottom of heel to top of boot 6". stitching on boot is double, single and triple stick, on sole is the thick type of stitching that has not existed for many years. laces are included. 8 eyelets. leather is quite supple especially for something maybe 75 years old! size is us 7 mens d which is average width. from back of heel to front of toe on bottom =11.5". width on bottom thickest part is 4". you could use saddle soap to make leather even more supple. "cap toe" as on ww2 combat boots. color is the same brown as used by us army in ww2. not a special box, but in original box. can send in large flat rate box if i take out of original box in us. shipping. if sending outside of us, light enough to send first class mail, most countries can not track or insure with first class mail, can track and insure with prirority mail
