North Carolina State College Textile School Raleigh Samplers NCSU - $675 - (Weldon, NC)
This sampler is from the North Carolina State College School of Textiles (Now - North Carolina State University). It contains the pictures of two prominent North Carolina men. They are: Dr E. C. Brooks - who was at the time the president of the then North Carolina State College. The other person is O. Max Gardner - who was governor of North Carolina at the time. I am not sure about the year of manufacture of this sampler but judging from the other samples I have I would estimate 1933-1936. This sampler is in very good condition for its age. Along the edges the thread has begun to unravel. If you would like more photos - please let me know.
