Smells really nice too. The bowl looks like Italian pottery. The bowl has handles and a variety of fruit painted on a COBALT BLUE back ground. Even though this looks new...I believe this is a vintage item...it has some crazing in the glaze inside. (The potpourri is new and unopened.)
