Photos Are Part of Our Description - ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. ___________________________________________________________________ I am offering for bid this Antique Square /Rectangular BRASS BIRDCAGE that I recently found at a local Estate Sale. It is not marked - but I believe it is made by Hendryx in New Haven, CT. around 1920. Most of the time this type of Birdcage was stamped on the Door ( which is missing ) or embossed on the underside ( which it is not). It still has the clips on each side so the top can be removed and it also has the Wires for the Feeders ( but they are also missing). It does have the Brass Finial at the top with a loop Wire for Hanging and does need to be Polished - which I will leave to the New Owner. There is some bending on the bottom Tray - which I have not tried to bend out ( see photo ). Because this item is Antique and I am listing it AS FOUND - it is being sold AS-IS with no Returns or Refunds. It measures approx. 13 1/2 in. x 10 in. x 14 in. Tall ( including the Wire for Hanging ). Would make a wonderful WINTER / COLD WEATHER Project to Restore or possible just use the Parts to complete one you may already have. Would also make a great " Décor " Item for Silk or Artificial Flowers or Plants in a Garden Room or Sun Porch !
