Bakelite Base with Glass Ink Well. The Glass Ink Well fits into base in two position. Top-side down with a metal clasp across top to hold it in place. Second position is turned upright with the inkwell opening up. There is a Esterbrook fountain pen that accompanies this. Absolutely awesome set. Unusual and very attractive.
