Some stalks are still bundled together, some are individual stalks. These are separated from mature, healthy plants, ready for planting. Each one has very limited roots, or even no visible roots, but new roots will pop out in a few days. If you plant them soon after receiving, they should take off and grow very fast for you. Instead of waiting for some seeds or seedlings to become mature, these stalks give you a jump start Condition: Healthy and vigorous. You can plant each stalk separately or plant a bunch together. We suggest to plant small bunch, 2 to 4 stalks together. They will multiply themselves and grow into larger clump in a few months for you to harvest Details: This is the fifth year's new growth from their original roots after the leaves die back each winter.
