CHINESE EXPORT SILVER Mustard Pot DRAGON late 1890s Early 1900s TC or IC Antique - $129 - (Stittsville, ON)
Exquisite antique Chinese export silver small lidded pot which I believe was originally for mustard or snuff. Gorgeous applied and highly detailed four clawed dragon encircles the pot. Lovely hinged lid with an engraved bamboo leaves design and bamboo finial. These antique silver items are normally 90% silver (sterling is 92.5%) but I have no way of testing the purity. Excellent addition to a collection! Please see my other current listings as I am always happy to combine wins to save on postage costs. SIZE: 2.75” (6.5cm) tall (Including finial) Weight is approx. 70 grams. CONDITION: Very Good. Missing its liner and spoon. Finial looks a tiny bit crooked. There are very few signs of use with one tiny dent (pushed in area) between the dragon's rear feet.
