Stunning antique/vintage Thai / Burmese tapestry panel known as a " Kalaga "Hand embroidered with metallic threads, sequins, & glass stones The backing feels like silk. The elephants are raised on a black velvet backing.In the center panel there are clear orbs sewn over mirrors; there are quite a few orbs missing but the mirrors are all in place so it is hardly detectable.There is a small hole on the back and a few pulls in the black silk. Measures 58" x 25"Its at least 50 years old and in good condition for its age.The Kalaga will be shipped free with insurance included!
