Technics SL-B300 TurntableFrequency Generator Servo Automatic This vintage Technics turntable is in very good cosmetic condition. It is clean and complete, with a few minor scuffs from handling. It includes a number of new replacement parts that were purchased earlier this year from various Ebay sellers in the United States. These include:New old stock diamond tip needle (0.4 X .7 mil elliptical )- model number AT 102P -- which matches the OEM partNew exact-size belt for this belt-driven turntableNew power cordNew audio cables to connect to your stereoOriginal clear plastic dust cover has surface scuffs and one of the hinge connectors is broken. That means the cover needs to be manually lifted off the turntable to replace a record. Auction also includes laser printed Operating Instructions and Service Manual (including schematics) for Technics SL-B200, an almost identical model with very similar specs. The motor and platter both work, tone arm raises and returns. The speed selector needs adjustment or replacement as the two sample records we played both played too fast, and sounded like The Chipmunks on steroids. Audio sound played through our vintage stereo and speakers was fine. The unit in in good condition overall, but does require the buyer to troubleshoot the speed issue.
