It can be used in a mix and match setup with another Technics speaker if you do not have the matching SB-CR55 to go with it. You can also use any other 8 ohm floor standing speaker from a reputable company like JBL, KLH, Sony etc. alongside it. You won't regret. The speaker sounds awesome! It is very heavy and bulky to ship. Local pickup is also available.
