Each year the Simmons Boardman Publishing Co, New York, bound the twelve issues of their Marine Engineering & Shipping Age magazine into oneannual hardbound book. This is the one for January to December 1932. The amount of detailed information featuring details and plans on cruise ships, tugboats, ferrys, work boats and even yachts built in that year (1932) is astounding. Included is the years building statistics, engines, cruise ship interiors, engineering, etc. Vintage ads are shown throughout. Hardbound, 9" x 12", 5lbs., 532 pages, B&W photos, ship plans. The book is in excellent condition, tight and no marks. There is a small tear midway through the book and very minor yellowing is on some pages. This book was once in the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh as evident by their stamp in the forward boards, however there is no library card glued to the back. These annual books are hard to find...
