Beautiful MCS Stereo Receiver 3226 Great vintage styling and performance from this 1981 Modular Component Systems (MCS) stereo receiver built to spec for JC Penney. Receiver has a nice assortment of audio features with both phono and AUX inputs, a high filter and loudness control. Power level and signal strength indicators are displayed by sequential lights on the front panel along with multiple other functional on/off indicators. The face is machined aluminum with satin finish and a thick panel of clear lucite type plastic over the tuner and lighting display. I believe the power rating on this unit is 26 watts per channel @ 8 ohms. Listing is for receiver unit only - no box, manual, cables or other accessories are included. Overall very good to excellent used condition - the receiver has been used regularly over the last several months and has been tested to be fully functional. All switches and displays/meters work as expected. Sound is clear with good tone balance and no static in volume, balance, loudness or input controls. The face is clear of any defects or damage including the clear plastic face plate. The outer case has no heavy scratches, stains or other damage. Please see all pictures for full condition details.
