Three original 1939 RCA TELEVISION documents. Historical, as submitted to "Radio Craft Magazine" editorial department.These documents are comprised of two books and a large poster of 1939 RCA Television equipment provided for the 1939 World's Fair.The books describe the "Television Tour" promoted by the World's Fair. Both books contain a detailed history of television progress with television illustrations, events, and inventions with dates. The smaller booklet is very rare and provides many illustrations and technical details of Television development from early mechanical television to 1939 cathode ray television.Large fold-out poster of the 1939 Pre-WAR television models and equipment is single sided and measures approximately 27 inches by 17 inches unfolded. Poster shows many Television sending and receiver models, television cameras and transmission equipment, and shows the development of RCA television systems.Poster and books are in original condition, and poster shows folds and very minor fading. Rare RCA TV sales advertising and technical documents. Additional photos available.Great original pre-war RCA television advertising and documentation to add to an early Television or 1939 World's Fair collection.These items are from the "R. D. Washburn" library, Hugo Gernsback Radio Craft magazine publication editor, and came from his residence in New Jersey.The documents are original antique paper documents and may show minor soiling, fading, and typical age wear or marks.
