McIntosh MR78 Tuner - $2,550 - (Portland, OR)

This is a gorgeous and minty tuner. I sent it to Audio Classics in New York to have Mr Richard Modafferi do a complete service. Mr Modafferi was the head designer of the circuits in this tuner when it came out so whom better to service it all these years later? The sound is fantastic and as you can see by the pics super clean. The MR78 is well known for it's sensitivity and bringing in super clean reception. You will receive the tuner and everything pictured including an original style box. Due to it's vintage it is being sold as is but as you can see by the invoice a lot of care went into the servicing of this tuner.
