Antique Silverplate Compote J. Morch Rococco Revival Brooklyn - $20 - (Woodstock, NY)

Offering a single silver plate compote or footed bowl from the mid 19th century with oval tag “ J.Morch, Brooklyn ED “. This is a beautifully crafted bowl with very early Rococo revival styling. Appears to be 1850’s or 1860’s stylistically. I could not find a lot of info on Morch, though he is listed as a jeweler in Brooklyn in that period. Selling as found from the estate of an avid Americana collector. Measures 6 1/2” by 3 3/4” high. I have not polished or altered it. Just a light dusting. Selling as found.
