A Dutch silver plated calendar cards holder. Oblong base beautifully decorated with scrolls and attached four-blade windmill, compartment for calendar card, (calendar cards are not included), please see and inspect all photos. Not monogrammed. No maker/manufacturer marks. Probably made in Schoonhoven, Netherlands, ca.1900's. Photos will tell you more. Approx.: Base (crosswise): 4-1/16in. x 1in. (103mm. x 25mm.) Height (max): 1-7/8in. (47mm.) Card Holder Compartment: 1-9/16in. x 3/8in. (40mm. x 9mm.) Weight: 1.1 oz. (31.1 gr.) Some tarnish/patina, what is not a defect. Commensurate with age, the condition is very good.
