HP 38C Vintage Hewlett Packard Calculator in Original Box Working with issues - $100 - (Weatherford, TX)

I have removed the special batteries that were in the calculator because they were corroded. I was able to get the calculator to power on with 2 AA batteries but I was not able to get the battery cover closed completely with them inside. I was not able to get the unit to power on with the AC adapter so I don't think the adapter is any good.
