Individual Sized William Hutton & Sons Silver Plated Teapot, Cream, Sugar - $26 - (Tennille, GA)

Carrying the mark of William Hutton & Sons, London and Sheffield, this single serving sized silver plate teapot, creamer and sugar holder has some interesting extra features. The handle of the teapot is leather bound for comfort when hot, the metal has a heavy feel which I expect is deliberate to insulate and hold heat, the lid is designed to be snug fitting to avoid spillage, and there is a tiny vent hole in the top.On the bottom of the teapot is the inscription hard soldered. My guess from the relatively modern and high quality of the details is that these items were manufactured relatively late in the output of William Hutton & Sons, but still close to a hundred years old. Height of the teapot is about 4-1/2 inches and it is about 4-1/2 inches across handle to spout. The creamer is about 2-3/4 inches tall and about 2-3/4 inches across and the sugar container is about 3 inches in diameter and 1-1/2 inches tall.
