1918 $1 NATIONAL CURRENCY FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF SAN FRANCISCO 'GREEN EAGLE' SUMMARY: This note, nicknamed 'green eagle notes' Were issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, one of the largest at the time. This note, bears the likeness of Gorge Washington, the first president and on the back, a bald eagle holding the American Flag in its talons. Where the nickname comes from. NOTES: The front of the note has no major visible creases. Unlike the back which has two major creases, but still in good condition.
