Vtg. Brayton Pottery/ Rooster & Hen-Teal Blue & Yellow/ Glossy/Laguna Calif. - $150 - (Wichita Falls, TX)

These are orginial Brayton pottery Rooster & Hen. Brayton pottery was open from 1927-1968. From 1927-1938 he made all his stuff from a small ceramic shop at his house. In 1938 he married Webb and they opened a large production place and by 1940 he had over 125 employees. His wife died in 1948 and he died in 1951. It is really rare to find matching sets of items by him . I'm offering a set of Rooster and Hen at the price just one of these would sell for. These are very rare and are in top mint condition no chips or cracks or repairs, minor pair wear on hens tail on top. These are early Brayton items by the mark that is on these I'm saying these are from the 30's and that is when he first started doing figurines. These are a beautiful Teal Blue with yellow combs , eyes and feet. There is a small chip on the bottom around the hole but it doesn't show. You will be delighted to display these or add them to your collection. I don't even see any crazing on these please look at pictures and judge for your self but you will never find these at this low price.
