Famille Rose Porcelain Teapot; Chinese Export to Europe c1760 Quanlong Period - $595 - (Santa Fe, NM)

Here is a lovely antique Chinese porcelain famille rose teapot. It would have been made c. 1760 for export to Europe, most likely to Holland, during the Quanlong period. It has an unusual pewter strainer, affixed with screws, which was probably added early on in Holland. It measures about 5 1/2” tall by 6” from spout to handle. While there is a visible hairline crack in the lid, it does not seem to immediately affect the integrity of the lid. It can be seen in the 5th & 6th photos, along with a small chip to the base of the lid. The teapot has no other hairlines, chips or cracks. Photo #8 shows tea stains in one place on the inside. Please study and enjoy the photos. They are part of the description. Thank you for looking!
