Here is your chance to own a pillow with a great Arts & Crafts design. The pillow design is of stylized grapes and grape leaves. There is a “R” monogram in the center of the pillow. This classic design is from a kit by the Richardson’s Silk Company from the 1910s. I’m offering a beautiful antique Arts and Crafts, Mission style, Stickley era and Roycroft era pillow. This pillow would look great sitting on a Morris chair or on a mission settle. It would also look great as an accent pillow in your bedroom. It is becoming more difficult to find Arts and Crafts linens with classic Arts and Crafts designs that are in such great condition. So don’t miss your chance to own this pillow! This pillow is well over 100 years old and it is embroidered with silk floss on nubby textured oatmeal colored linen. CONDITION: This embroidered pillow is in great condition. It is clean with no smell. Photo 9 shows the back of the pillow. Photos 3, 4 and 5 show the beautiful embroidery detail and the vivid original colors of the embroidery. There has been no fading of the embroidery colors as seen with other linens. Also there has been no loss or damage to the embroidery. I recently added a brand new pillow insert to the pillow. Photos 10 and 11 show a couple of small 1/2 inch very faint light rust colored spots on the linen. In my opinion, these do not distract from this beautiful pillow.
