A very elegant sterling 'Revere' bowl, #229, Old Newbury Crafters, Newburyport, Mass. Although the company was formed in 1932 it was not till 1965 that any dating system was established. Using various references I am of the opinion the bowl was made prior to 1955. There are also many references to their Handcrafted lines, so I am not sure if this bowl is hand wrought. There are no hammer marks, so maybe not. In very good condition. Very light usage scratches. No monogram. Dimensions: 9” diameter, 4.5” high.
