Hand Hammered Late 1800s SOLID COPPER Colander / Seive - $65 - (Southern Pines, NC)

Offering a handsome turn-of-the-century SOLID COPPER HAND HAMMERED KITCHEN COLANDER or Sieve. This gorgeous, large utensil is all hand made and in excellent antique condition with no dents or dings. It measures about 12" in diameter and is about 3 7/8" deep. The interior is still nicely tinned to protect the flavor of acidic foods. The tinning is somewhat worn on the exterior, revealing the beautiful copper underneath. This beautiful example of hand hammered copper ware is still functional and its lovely patina makes it a wonderful kitchen decoration.
