CA 1850 STAFFORDSHIRE HAND PAINTED VASE WITH PHEASANT HANDLES & DAFFODILS - $175 - (Swansboro, NC)

Wonderful old antique Staffordshire vase, ca 1850. All hand painted with gilded Pheasants for side handles. The front is daffodils, the back some buds. No major nicks or chips. The backside tail of one Pheasant has a tiny flea bite shown in the last very enlarged photo. It measures approximately 10" in height and approximately 6 1/2" from handle to handle. Opening measures approximately 2 1/2" in diameter. Unsigned as most old ceramic Staffordshire is. It is from an estate with a large collection of antique vases and dishes.
