Vintage (c1960) International & US Stamp Collecting Album & US stamps affixed - $28 - (Nevada, MO)
I'm selling my 1960 vintage Minkus Stamp Collecting Album with some United States postage stamps affixed. Scattered among the international pages are a few of other countries' stamps. The album is in sturdy functional condition with a small area of minor staining along the spine near front cover (see all photos as part of description). The inside covers show only the passage of 60 years storage in a box in various closets. The album is educational as it includes a comprehensive world map and complete list of all countries that would have had postage stamps at that time. It would make a fun lesson to compare both the map and the lists of countries that were relevant in 1960, that are no longer in existence....either from warfare overtaking borders or renaming countries for political and governmental changes over the past 60 years! I've included shipping FREE in my buy-it-now asking price and will plan to ship it to the US states only(no international sales). There are approximately 20 pages of some collected stamps and the value of this listing is in the album itself!
