BIOGRAPHY: Berndt Friberg, born 1 January 1899 in Höganäs , died 17 July 1981 in Gustavsberg , was a Swedish ceramic artist and turners . Fribjerge began working as a henchman of Höganässelskabet where he stopped until 1918. Same year he traveled to Denmark and made ??a short visit to Miller & Bøgely. In 1919 he returned to Sweden and took employment at Raus Stenkærlfabrik in Helsingborg and stopped there for a year. In the year 1934 he came to Gustavsberg porcelain factory where he worked until his death in 1981. Friberg was widely praised for his skill and received many awards for their work. He worked including by Wilhelm Kåge and Stig Lindberg but also produced their own original works which today determines a high value among collectors.
