Mid County Dems March Meeting with Assembly Member Mark Stone - N.A. - (Aptos, CA)

Please join the Mid County Dems to hear from our State Assembly Member Mark Stone about his continuing Advocacy and Action Items pertaining to Climate Change! As an environmental champion, Mark has fought to curb illegal coastal development, reduce plastic pollution, and clean up drinking water supplies. In his capacity as Chair of the Select Committee on Coastal Protection and Access to Natural Resources, he has held hearings investigating oil spill prevention efforts, plastic garbage effects on the coastal environment, offshore fracking, beach erosion, and coastal access for all Californians. The meeting will be held at the Community Foundation of SCC – there is limited parking in the lot, on site. SAVE THE DATE: Our Meetings are held on `the 1st Thursday of the Month. The next is Thursday, April 4 with Capitola City Mayor Jacques Bertrand and Vice Mayor Kristen Peterson, at the Capitola City Hall Community Room.
